DIFFERENT USES OF OATS THAT WILL SURPRISE YOU
   
Most people only know one use of oats which is to make Cereal for Breakfast. If you're the inquisitive type, you've come to the right place, Below are 5 other uses of oats you probably didn't know of;

      To make flour for Baking


    I didn't know of a thing called 'Oat Flour' until i started making healthier options. Oat flour is healthy and can replace the regular flour required in most baking recipes. To make it, simply blend the oats until it turns into a powder form.

         To exfoliate the face

Everyone wants an amazing skin. Exfoliating the skin is a great way to get a smooth and good looking skin, Be sure to wash your face with lukewarm water before applying an oat scrub. Add about 3 tbsps of water to 1 tbsp of oats, wait 5-10 mins until oats become soft. In a circular motion, gently massage your face with the scrub for about 1-2 mins, avoiding the area around your eyes, Rinse with warm water then with cold water(to close pores).

      To make Granola

 

 Granola tastes sooooo good 😋 , thanks to its major ingredient; Oats. There are a ton of recipes online on how to make healthy Granola, Just be sure to follow accordingly and you're few mins from making your own granola rather than spending your money plus you get to know what is inside your Granola 😊.

     To make swallow

Only my Nigerian peeps will probably get this. We can't deny our love for Nigerian soups and our major challenge is finding the perfect swallow to go with it that isn't unhealthy (challenge of most Nigerian Fitfam 😢). Oat flour is here for us 😊 🙌 . It is not used just for baking, you can make it just the way you make Semovita or wheatmeal and eat it along with any soup of your choice (don't ignore portion control 😏 ) without feeling guilty.

               As an amazing ingredient in cookies and muffins


Baking doesn't have to be restricted to unhealthy snack only. You can bake healthy snacks that taste as good as unhealthy ones (but definitely not better 😆 😋; thank God for treats). Oats can be used to bake literally anything ranging from cookies to muffins, brownies etc. You can never go wrong with Oats.
